about us
- We are a solo (one) doctor small animal practice. Dr. Wayne is our veterinarian. We like him. We hope you will too.
- We see mostly cats & dogs, some small mammals (rabbits, ferrets, guinea pigs, etc.), a few monkeys, and the occasional buffalo.
- We have practiced here for 35 years. Health & circumstances willing, we will continue to do so.
- For a solo doctor practice, we have a particularly large hospital – about 25 rooms on 2 floors. We offer a large number and wide variety of medical and surgical services - again, especially for a solo doctor practice.
- Our hours of operation (practice hours we are open) are extensive.
- Anyone who has come here knows that our office visits (consultations, examinations) are lengthy. Why so? This allows us to take a thorough history (get your thoughts & your description of medical issue), perform a thorough physical examination, and then summarize with an evaluation/summary/plan.
- We strive to explain well all medical & surgical issues to you. We make recommendations, and we give you choices/options. We try to answer all your questions.
- We expend considerable time & effort to try to find/determine the medical diagnosis, Then we proceed to work towards the best possible medical/surgical outcome for your pet and for you.
- We are one of only a couple of AAHA hospitals (certified by the American Animal Hospital Association) in Hunterdon County. And we have held this distinction by far the longest.
- If we had to describe ourselves best in only one word, we think that one word would be thoroughness.
- We are thankful for our clients, we enjoy them, and we appreciate them. We enjoy our patients as well.
- If we find that we have failed you or let you down in some way, then we will try our very best to remedy the situation. We care. We really do.
